As a Culinary Support Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, providing critical support in food purchasing, inventory management, and meal preparation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure food service excellence during church events and regular services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory and Purchasing: Manage food and kitchen supplies inventory, execute shopping duties as directed, and maintain accurate purchase records.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean and organized, adhering to health codes and safety regulations.
• Event Support: Coordinate dining and service setups for various church events, contributing to their success through excellent back-end service.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow all SafeServ guidelines and stay updated on health codes to ensure the kitchen operates within regulatory standards.
• Food Preparation and Cooking: Assist in preparing and cooking meals for church events, ensuring quality and compliance with food safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent education and experience
• Current State Safe Serve Certification or the ability to obtain Safe Serve Certification within 45 days of initial hire date
• Must have current driver’s license and clear driving record
• 2 years of food preparation and cooking experience
• 2 years of experience in food purchasing and inventory control
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and database software desired.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and engaging in physical activities necessary for kitchen operation.
